IR-8 System Description The digital infrared language distribution system is a system that wirelessly transmits audio signals through infrared radiation. It can be used in simultaneous interpretation systems for international conferences where multiple languages are required. In order to ensure that all participants can understand the discussion, interpreters provide simultaneous translations of the speaker’s remarks. These simultaneous translations are broadcast to various corners of the conference venue, and delegates can select their respective languages and listen through headphones. The system can also be used for music transmission (mono and multi-channel). EC-8M Digital 8-CH IR Interpretation system main unit Fully digital design, significantly improving audio quality and anti-interference capability. Complies with international standards IEC 61603-7 and IEC 60914. Complies with the latest national standard GB 50524-2010. Compatible with other infrared simultaneous interpretation systems that comply with the IEC 61603-7 standard (cross-compatible). Supports 4, 8, 12, and 16 audio channels. Operates in the 2~8MHz carrier frequency range, in accordance with international standard frequency regulations. Employs both vertical and horizontal expansion designs, providing a wider signal radiation angle. Features a hand-in-hand signal radiation enhancement coverage mode, making it easy to expand the signal coverage area and can be configured for multi-room use. Includes cable transmission delay compensation function to ensure the correct overlay and transmission of signals. Infrared signals cannot penetrate walls or ceilings, ensuring the privacy of meetings. User-friendly human-machine interface design, simple and easy to use, requiring no in-depth training to operate. Elegant exterior design, showcasing sophistication. Management personnel can monitor the system through the host. IR-8R Radiator Compatible with other infrared simultaneous interpretation systems that comply with the IEC 61603-7 standard (cross-compatible). Extremely powerful transmission capability, with a range of up to 30 meters (25W). Multiple channels using the same transmission unit. Hand-in-hand signal radiation enhancement coverage mode, making it easy to expand the signal coverage area, and can also be configured for multi-room use. Features cable transmission delay compensation function to ensure correct overlay and transmission of signals. Can be installed in a fixed manner (using a swivel bracket) or with a tripod stand. Half-power emission angle: ±22 degrees. IR-8I Interpreter unit Fully digital design, significantly improving audio quality and anti-interference capability. Equipped with individual volume adjustment and automatic feedback suppression function. Has a cough suppression function to prevent coughing sounds from being transmitted when interpreters cough. When the speaker speaks too quickly, they can press the request button (SLOW) to ask the speaker to slow down their speech. Configurable for secondary translation function. When interpreters cannot understand the speaker’s language, they can listen to other interpreters’ interpretations and perform a second translation. Supports 4, 8, 12, and 16 audio channels. Features a color large screen display and optional headset and microphone. IR-8D Receiver unit Sleek and aesthetically pleasing exterior design, in line with ergonomic principles. Lightweight, designed for use with headphones, ensuring ease and comfort for users. Button-based channel selection, with non-interference between 4, 8, 12, and 16 channels. LCD displays channel information, signal strength, and low battery warnings. Utilizes a filter design to effectively resist interference from ambient light, allowing operation in complex environments such as sunlight and neon lighting. Fully digital infrared signal transmission, low noise without distortion, and a wide dynamic range. Simple operation and easy portability. The receiver unit is powered by rechargeable batteries, providing continuous operation for up to 15 hours and comes with a charging case. Data settings are retained even in case of power loss. No restrictions on increasing the number of receiver units within the effective range of infrared transmission. Not limited by seating arrangements in the venue, allowing free movement within the signal transmission range. Features more user-friendly volume adjustment buttons for channel up/down. Low battery warning function. Charging indication and protection functions. Enhanced safety features for user-friendly operation: automatic shutdown on low battery, automatic shutdown after 60 seconds of no infrared signal transmission, inability to power on without headphones, and automatic power-off when headphones are disconnected. Equipped with an extendable pull handle and wheels for easy mobility. Features charging protection and indicator functions. IR-8BT Booster unit for Interpreter unit The standard cable length from the main control unit to the first interpreter unit is 10 meters. If the actual usage requires a length longer than 10 meters, additional repeaters are needed to extend it, with each added repeater extending the cable length by 10 meters. IR-32BOOT Interpreter Booth Aluminum alloy structure, modular production in the factory. On-site self-assembly, easy and quick assembly, and easy disassembly (installation/dismantling time ≤ 15 minutes). Detachable, mobile, easy to transport, convenient for remote installation, and use, without changing the effectiveness. Lightweight (total weight around 150kg, for 2 people), sturdy and durable. Has good soundproofing and sound absorption functions.
